Symposium on Smart Inverter Testing and Interoperability

This Symposium focuses on new technology-enabled solutions for inverter dynamic performance testing, protection, in-house product pre-certification, control software FW versioning and fulfilling the demands of the emerging cyber-physical grid. The participants, will get exclusive insights into the latest technology developments that are completely automating grid code compliance testing,certification processes for future smart inverters. This Symposium counts on the participation on all the actors involved in this area: Utilities, Converter manufacturers, Certification Labs, Plants Stakeholders and Research Centers, constituting thus a great networking and open discussion Platform.

Alvaro Luna and Pedro Rodriguez from the research center of Renewable Electrical Energy Systems (SEER) will participate in this Symposium. Alvaro Luna will give a lecture with the title of "Evaluation of Control Performance and Standards Compliance Using HIL Platforms" as a CEO of the new Spin-off of SEER, NRG.lab. On the other hand, Pedro Rodriguez, will give a lecture titled "Grid Codes Compliance in Synchronous Controller Equipped Systems".
