UPC among world’s thirty best universities in Architecture and top forty in Civil and Structural Engineering

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) ranks among the best thirty universities in the world in Architecture (26th) and among the best forty in Civil and Structural Engineering (34th) according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017, published on 8 March. It is also among the top hundred in Telecommunications, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mathematics (51-100 range).

The University also made it onto the rankings in other subjects: Computer Science and Information Systems (101-150), Engineering – Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing (101-150), Statistics and Operational Research (101-150), Materials Science (151-200), Environmental Sciences (201-250), and Physics and Astronomy (251-300). It is included in the rankings for the first time in several subject areas: Art and Design (101-150), Chemical Engineering (201-250), Agriculture and Forestry (201-250), and Business and Management Studies (251-300).
