LOW3 receives the European Solar Prize 2013

EUROSOLAR recognizes outstanding achievements in promoting widespread use of renewable energy through the annual European Solar Prize, now in its twentieth year.
The European Solar Prize is given to make pioneers and leaders the focus of public attention and to give fresh impetus to a renewable energy-based and decentralized energy turnaround. It honors important and innovative projects and initiatives from all parts of society in eight categories.
The recipient of the European Solar Prize 2013 in the category Education and vocational training is the Living Lab LOW3, the prototype of an energy self suficient solar house developed by a UPC team (ETSAV).
