Electricity through human footprint
The design of a prototype for the generation of electricity through the human footprint is the award winning Treelogic Prize.
The award-winning project led by Javier Ibáñez García from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, "Design of a prototype for power generation using electricalpart technology", has developed a footprint-sensitive and environmentally friendly pavement. This type of tile is able to recover the mechanical energy of the human footprint and transform it into electricity, thus saving energy.
This award, held annually, aims to promote and reward innovative and creative initiatives from university students. The prize is endowed with 4,000 euros.
