Innovative ideas in energy efficiency

Three groups of undergraduated students from the UPC Terrassa School of Engineering (EET), currently doing the Degree in Electronic Engineering and Automatics, have presented three innovative proposals aimed at achieving higher energy efficiency by using electronic-related technology:

• A cover for charging computing devices with solar power
• Smart Park, a smart parking system ran by solar power
• KERS system, a way to implement a kinetic energy recovery in vehicles
