Barcelona hosted once again the ceremony of the Solar Awards organized by the Spanish section of the European Association for Renewable Energies (Eurosolar), aimed at initiatives and exemplary actions in the field of renewable energy use within the Spanish State.
Ressò, the project developed by ETSAV-UPC students to compete in Solar Decathlon Europe 2014, has won the Architecture Prize. The prototype is a good example of low cost and self-suficient architecture built with a highly efficient use of energy (Solar thermal vacuum collectors and solar PV).
In 2012, the ETSAV-UPC students recived the same award for the project (e)co.
