Positive feedback of the first years of Energy Campus

The International Commission appointed by the Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deportes, has highly assessed the progress of the Campus of International Excellence project led by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya·BarcelonaTech in the field of energy.

The report issued by this Commission stresses the academic improvement, with updated courses with good partnerships and mobility projects with other European centres of excellence.

Other strengths include the reorganization of the Doctoral School with a project of large participation of Erasmus students and new trainee researchers, and the programs aimed at facilitating the exchange of students and researchers with other institutions.

The significant research activity performed by the Living Research Labs with several interesting realizations, and the Technology Offers catalogue (with a section devoted to energy & environment) as a realization in view of improving social responsibility, are also emphasized in the report.

As a result of the evaluation process, the report features the potential impact of actions such as the construction of a R&D Complex in Diagonal-Besòs to become the home to energy-related studies (currently underway), several interesting projects of the Living Research Labs under realization, and the good effect in the social environament.
