New working spaces and academic activity rooms

The academic year 2012-2013 offers new rooms and working spaces aimed at visiting teachers and researchers, PhD students, and academic and business meetings.
The first floor of C4 building has been totally refurbished to allocate visiting teachers and researchers. The new area has 13 single working spaces and a small meeting room.
In addition, the -1 floor of the Rector Gabriel Ferraté Library, has been redesigned to satisfy the academic needs of the researchers in training. The area has now 5 rooms with a total of 78 single working spaces , one meeting room (12 people) and 174 lockers for personal use. The new premises have been funded by the Ministry of Education through the project Energy Campus (Campus of International Excellence).
Finally, from now on the Campus has a new multipurpose room, the Sala Àgora (capacity: 110 people), aimed at hosting several events organised within the university. The room is located in the Telecommunications square, C3 building, floor 0.
