K2M company becomes a part of the ITER project

ASE Optics Europe specializes in optical engineering, design and fabrication for product development. The company, based in Parc UPC-K2M premises, designs and develops custom optoelectronic and optomechanical systems, precision optics and prototypes.
ASE Optics Europe has recently won a sub-contract for the design upgrade of the In-Vessel Viewing and metrology System (IVVS) as part of the ITER project through Fusion for Energy and Oxford Technologies Limited. The project is led by Fusion For Energy (F4E), and ASE Optics Europe is responsible for the design upgrade, mocking-up and testing of the probe optical system. ASE EU is in charge of the provision of engineering support in the area of remote handling.
