First class graduated in Energy Engineering in Spain

The firts class of Energy Engeneering in Spain, graduated on November 8th in the School of Industrial Engineering of Barcelona (EUETIB). This school is attached to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) and is the first school offering this Degree in Spain.

The bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering provides students with the training they need to direct and manage engineering projects related to any stage of the electrical energy generation, transport and distribution process, including energy efficiency and energy savings. Students also learn to design policies to promote energy savings, sustainability and the rational use of energy. In addition to projects based on conventional energy sources, they will be able to carry out projects related to renewable energies, such as wind, solar, thermal, photovoltaic, biomass, geothermal, biogas or biofuel energy.
