3rd EmprènUPC Awards: Best Business Idea 2013

The award ceremony took place on 4th June at FIB premises. A total of 70 projects from 170 students were submitted this year.

The EmprènUPC initiative is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation culture among students. The award is is sponsored by Fundació Caixa d’Enginyers, KIC InnoEnergy, Sener and Solvay, in collaboration with EADA and Energy Campus.

The three award-winning ideas, Greenfish, X-treme eye and KeepMe, have received 2,500 euros each, to be invested in analyze the feasibility of the project and set up the business.

The prize in renewable energy category, worth 1,500 euros, went to the Waste Heat Smartly project.
