Call for Innovation Proposals held in Barcelona
On September 10th, a call for innovation proposals within the renewable energy field was held at the UPC premises in Barcelona.
The event had about 40 attendees, coming from different energy companies like Gas Natural Fenosa and Goldemar Solutions, as well as research centers and institutions like CIEMAT or IREC, most of them members of Energy Campus.
The activity aimed at presenting the assistants the basics for developing an innovation project and a consortia around it within the KIC InnoEnergy framework. During the day, several pitches and one to one sessions were performed between the participants and KIC InnoEnergy representatives, so as to start preparing the new proposals whose deadline for submission is on December 1st, 2013.
Regarding other key milestones, the projects selection will be done during January 2014, while the kick off will be on March 31st, 2014 and the WP0 gate review will be performed on July 30th, 2014.
