LOW3 @ Barcelona Energy Week

Mar 12, 2015

Within the “Barcelona Energy Week” a group of 9 students from TU/e Eindhoven, participants of the Post-Master Programm “Sustainable Energy for Buildings and Cities”, visited ETSAV campus for a 1-day seminar on “Holistic Innovations for Sustainability”.

The Living Lab LOW3 facilities offered a place for discussion and presentations about innovations related to energy efficiency in buildings and renewable energies within a broader social and environmental context.

The presentations of real projects in the field of Nearly Zero Energy Buildings, energetic refurbishment and energy poverty by different actors of UPC and visits to the SOLAR CUBE BIPV laboratory, as well as the low-energy student residence building at the campus offered an attractive mixture of guided visits, exploration and discussions, contributing to a more holistic view on sustainability of the participants.
