4th Emprèn UPC Awards

On 18th June, took place the Emprèn UPC Award Ceremy organised by Programa Innova. The iniciative aims to promote entrepreneurship and innovation culture among the UPC students and is sponsored by Fundació Caixa d'Enginyers, Solvay, Sener and KIC InnoEnergy, in collaboration with EADA business school, Dept. d’Empresa i Ocupació, Catalunya Emprèn, Ministerio de Empleo y Seguridad Social, Fons Social Europeu, and Energy Campus.

The 2014 award winning projects are:

• 1st.- Krimtrack project (FIB, ETSETB)
• 2nd.- Puralga project (ETSEIB)
• 3rd.- TransferKey project (EET)

The Sustainable Energy Accesit went to ZOE project, the intelligent socket designed to transmit information about energy consumption at home.
