15th edition of the Environmental and Sustainable Ideas competition
The university launches this year the contest focused on the topic "RIO+20: REINFORCE THE COMMITMENT WITH SUSTAINABILITY"
The UPC.BarcelonaTech is looking for ideas to promote innovative actions and projects that contribute to the great changes that the world needs this century to transform the current social and economic model and also to move towards new models of development in accordance with the Millennium Development Goals.
The ideas provided will make it possible a quantum leap in the assumption of social responsibility of the technology in connection with the environment and the human sustainable development and in particular, they will impact particularly on our universities and our interaction with society.
This year the projects submitted should take as a reference the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Earth Summit RIO+20) to be held in June.
