Symposium on Offshore Wind Technologies

KIC- Offwindtech is a research project aimed at identifying the main challenges and limitations in offshore, especially deep water offshore wind energy, and to seek and analyze viable alternatives in the field of power transmission, dive train technology and offshore blades.

IREC and CITCEA-UPC organize this workshop, which goal is providing a space to discuss the challenges of the offshore wind power by two thematic sessions:

• Offshore wind farm grid integration
• Offshore wind farm aerodynamics/aeroelastics.
