Smart Moto Challenge provides schools of engineering and design with the possibility of working in a real project for developing an electrical light motorcycle. Students, with their participation, will acquire the skills of workgroup capacities, working by objectives, last minute technology and knowledge on future markets, among others. On the other hand, the manufacturers of the motorcycle industry will have a laboratory of ideas and an additional source of future market and product technicians.
The SMC-EE team, made by students of two outstanding catalan Universities: the Industrial Engineering School of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (ETSEIB-UPC) and the Industrial Design School of Barcelona (ELISAVA), is set to participate in the competition next July, between 11 and 14, at Castellolí Circuit (Campus Motor Anoia).
