Energy resources and crisis. The end of 200 once in a lifetime years
Jul 21, 2011
The book published by Carles Riba, professor at UPC and director of the CDEI, can be free downloaded.
The natural resources are finite, especially non-renewable energy, a fact that not many political and business leaders seem to consider. The author wonders whether it will be possible to maintain the system of industrial development started about 200 years ago with the exploitation of coal first, and oil, natural gas and uranium later.
The analysis of this book is based on data from the major energy agencies (EIA, Energy Information Administration, the U.S. government, and the IEA, IEA, International Energy Agency, the OECD) and other statistical sources internationally recognized, properly verified and reworked.
