(e)co wins the Spanish Solar Prize 2012

(e)co house is a project developed and built by students. It represents a new sustainability and low-cost model that reaches a real equilibrium between the environment, the society and the economy.
(e)co dwelling, a project developed by ETSAV students (School of Architecture of the Vallès), has received the Solar Prize 2012 awarded by EUROSOLAR, the European Association for Renewable Energy.
Created by EUROSOLAR-ES in 2002, the Solar Prize has since been given for exemplary projects and initiatives in the field of renewable energy use. It recognizes outstanding achievements, creativity and innovation in renewable energy applications. By giving the awards it is intended to spark and reinforce public interest in renewable energy.
