Josep Cabré, professor of the Department of Management, is pleased to invite you to the first session of the Lecture Series chaired by Antonio Turiel, CSIC researcher and regular guest at TV3 show "Singulars".

Antonio Turiel, physicist, mathematician and researcher at the CSIC's Marine Science Institute, is the mind behind the popular blog "Peak Oil". The arrival of the peak in the world oil production has put the economy on the ropes. Turiel thinks about this phenomenon and the measures to be taken to tackle the coming shortage.

The Lecture Series is organized as part of both subjects "Business and Economic Environment" (Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering) and "Sustainability, Economics and Social Commitment-SECS" (Masters in Computer Engineering). Coordinators: Joan Carles Gil and Josep Cabré.
